Sinners by Edna O'Brien

Edna O’Brien is an Irish novelist, playwright, poet and short story writer and has been described as “the most gifted woman now writing in English.” Her works often revolve around the inner feelings of women.  Tonight’s story is taken Saints and Sinners from her collection which won the 2011 Frank o’Connor International Short Story Award, the world’s richest prize for a short story collection.
